Poo the Loo

Starlee needed to do a big poo. She was a big girl now. She was two and a half and she was toilet trained like a grown up. So, she knew just what to do. It had been an awkward morning, school had been called off because of the floods, and a huge amount of rain was still falling. They were trapped at home and unable to go outside to play. Starlee's big sister, April, had decided to do an art lesson. April had shown her mum where to find the class on the internet. At six years old, nearly seven, she, too, was a big girl now. With Starlee on the loo and April busy with her artwork, their mum had taken a quick moment to do some tidying up. Starlee never like anyone around when she was occupied on the loo, she would tell everyone she needed her privacy. After her mega poo, Starlee felt she should clean up the toilet just as she had seen her mum do. She got the toilet brush and put it in the bottom of the toilet and swirled it around working up the pan and onto the seat. It didn't quite look the same as when her mum did it with all the brown stuff streaking everywhere but she was just learning and she was sure that her mum would be pleased anyway. Starlee herself was quite impressed with the job she had done. April, Starlee's big sister, had heard Starlee banging around and decided to investigate. When big sister arrived at the toilet, Starlee waved the brown covered toilet brush at her. April shrieked and was gagging with the smell as she rapidly backed away. The result of April's shriek was that their mum came running to see Starlee chasing April waving the poo covered toilet brush at her. Starlee was having so much fun with big sis running from her in such a state, as April was dry retching as she ran. Needless to say. mother was not impressed and had to quickly gain control, or poo was going to be splattered everywhere. After a quick grab to confiscate the offending brush, Starlee had to have her nether region cleaned as she had neglected to perform that part of the process. Then Starlee hung around her mum as she showed Starlee how the toilet brush was correctly used to clean the toilet. It was impressed upon her that the toilet brush was used without the brown stuff on it. After all was cleaned and calm, Starlee and April's mum rang their nana to tell her about what happened that day. Before their mum was quarter the way through the story their nana was rolling on the couch having the best belly laugh, she had had in a long time. Then that sneaky nana wrote the story out so that it could be brought out and read at, Starlee's twenty first birthday party or even her wedding.

Ooops, they saw me

“Hey, Sis, I heard Mum say to Dad that it was a perfect night for Dragon dancing.” “So what, you can’t go.” “I thought I would sneak out and watch after they have left.” “Dangerous, what if you get caught?” “I’ll tell them it was for educational purposes.” I put on my innocent look. “Ha! I think you have worn that one out.” “Still could work.” “Not after last time, and watching the Dragon dance is a big no-no but you’re going to go and watch it anyway?” “Yep!” “You do love trouble.” Sis slowly shook her head at me. After Mum and Dad had left, I snuck out and found myself a good position on a rocky ledge. It had enough cover so that I was hidden but with just a bit of movement I could see all around. Oh, it was beautiful. The sky was full of stars, and the full moon had just appeared over the mountain range on the horizon. I could hear them getting ready for the Dragon dance. They would bathe in the river below and come up together twirling dancing together all around Mum and Dad told me. I leant forward so that I could see the river with the moon now reflecting on it. Yes, there they were small figures splashing in the river. As I watched the Dragon figures came out of the water and joined together. They rotated as they flew upwards. I ducked back so that they wouldn’t see me. Together they flew up passed where I was hiding. They were so close I could see that they were actually linked by a certain part of the body. Amazing, I had always wondered what that part of the body was actually for. I must discuss it with Sis. The turning linked Dragons went up so high I couldn’t see them just their shadows when they blotted out the stars and then still linked, head first they came racing down again. They only just prevented disaster by separating and flying apart and away just before they would have hit the ground. It was amazing and felt so exciting deep inside. Three times they did this and it got faster and more exciting each time. There was a problem though with the last time. I must have leaned out too far or stayed leaning out too long. I think they saw me. The dance has stopped. “Oh no, here comes Dad!” He picked me up by my small dragon tail and threw me into the entrance of our cave. I went bump, bump, and slid over to the fire. Sis was there with a smug look on her face. “I know you told me so. Oh, but it was worth it. It was just sooooo exciting and do you want to know what they did with this part of Dad’s body?” I said as I pointed to a certain male part of my anatomy.

My Lover

My lover sits on a chair outside on my patio. No matter what I do I cannot get him to move on. I have even hissed and growled at him many times, but he never takes me seriously. Although he has, as if in a huff, stalked away quite a few times to preserve his dignity. I'm sure he knows my heart is just not in it. His faithfulness may be endearing but somehow, I feel I may be just being used. At my place away from all his many sibling and other family members he has a comfortable and peaceful life. My patio is private and sheltered and so it’s as if he has my whole property all to himself most of the time. My awareness of his determination to be my lover came to my attention a couple of days ago. He was hanging around my front patio more than ever and I decided to really shoo him away. No, he just sat about two feet from me as I had a stern talk with him about going back to his own home where he truly belonged. He didn't take any notice. He just sat there and by the end of my talk he just twitched his tail a bit and slow blinked. I have always believed that slow blinking in cat speech means, 'I'm happy with you, too'. I gave up and went inside to get on with my day. At lunchtime he came to my attention again. He had obviously come around to the other side of the house so that he could keep a watchful eye on me. You never know what I might get up to. As I sat at the kitchen table eating my lunch there, he was curled up under the air conditioning compressor just outside the window watching me eat my lunch. My daughter rang. She had a problem and needed me to go out with her and stay in the car to look after the babies. My daughter needed to buy necessities she was rapidly running out of. I agreed and got ready. Hopefully they will stay sleeping and I won't have to entertain them too much. The worst thing is if I have to sing nursery rhymes. I've not much of a singing voice these days. I was ready to go out and waiting for my daughter to arrive to pick me up. I looked out of the dining room window and there he was face planted up against the window as if to say, “No! Don't go! Don't leave me!” His whole attitude was one of very serious concern. I couldn't help it I was laughing as I entered my daughter’s vehicle and she asked me why I was laughing. I had to tell her about the neighbour's pet cat I now called my lover. The thing is I don't know its name or even if it is a male or female. Oh, dear.
