I grew up in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1976 with my husband. We have two children and six grandchildren, living in Queensland.
I've always loved making up stories, even as young girl, and it's reflected in my short stories and my association with The Screen Theater and wRiters Studio (STARS) in 2012.
When my children grew up, I found I had the time to flesh out one of the stories always in my head. My son coming home from London gave me the push to put pen to paper. Or more accurately, fingers to keyboard!
The consequences of nuclear war, how it can show human nature at its worst—and its best. A single disruptive moment can break through our realities and reach our inner spiritual peak.
